Trainers

Ben Forsyth

Ben has been our resident barista trainer for the last 3 years. His career kicked of in Australia in 2012 where he did a handful of courses with the Australian Barista Academy. Back in Dublin he worked 2 years for Bear Market Coffee in Blackrock and then became a trainer for Illy Coffee in 2015 and started teaching with us at DBA in 2016. He has also recently started his own coffee brand 8th corner which is now the fastest growing specialty coffee brand in Ireland.

Gabor Labath

Gabor started his career working as a barista for Fallon&Byrne. After this he worked 3 years with Coffee Angel managing shops. He then took on the role as head of coffee for UK & Ireland for the Compass Group. Currently Gabor is Barista Trainer for Food Solutions Ltd.
