Fergal is formally qualified with a degree in business studies, Hotel & Catering Management, he has also completed a Masterclass in Leadership with the Irish Management Institute.
Fergal has led Two different Regional Branches as Chairperson for the Irish Hotel Federation for seven years in total and represented them at National Level as a Member of Council.
He was approached to join a Strategic team to represent Ireland West Airport Knock with Government Negotiations in relation to the future Funding & Development of the Airport and represented it for a period of Two Years where significant future plans were developed and delivered
He also joined when approached the Sligo Business Improvement District and worked closely with the City Corporate & State Institutions on the development & promotion of the area whilst operating in the Sligo area.
Fergal has been a member of Dublin Convention Bureau and also been a member of Chamber of Commerce in both Galway & Sligo.
He is an avid follower of all Irish sports, enjoys International Rugby, Premier league, Champions league, but his true sporting passion is GAA.
