Between June and July, 19 individuals successfully completed the Manual Handling Instructors Course QQI Level 6. This intensive training program, crucial for enhancing workplace safety and efficiency. The network was able to fund this training at 70% through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), making this opportunity accessible to a diverse group of participants.
The five-day course emphasised the practical delivery of manual handling in the workplace, assessing risks related to manual handling activities, and enhancing participants’ training skills. This training is essential for employees responsible for delivering manual handling training. The course was both interactive and practical, requiring significant participation and engagement throughout.
